Environmental Citizen Science Small Grants now open

Welcome to Inspiring South Australia.

We make a living by what we get, but a life by what we give.

Applications are now open for the Environmental Citizen Science Small Grants.

These grants are for citizen science projects that address research questions or gather data about living things and the natural environment: plants, animals, fungi, species, ecosystems, ecological communities. This includes the key elements of our natural environment, including soil, water and air.

The grant program is focused on supporting new projects to become established, and supporting existing projects that may require additional funding to extend their lifespan or engage more participants.

Applications close 2:00pm on Thursday 11 May 2023

Inspiring SA works collaboratively to create events and programs and working with diverse communities to make the STEMM in our everyday lives, and in our future, more visible, to inspire, harness curiosity and to broaden scientific literacy.
