Bring your science-arts project to life with our 2018 round of grants

Expressions of interest are being sought for the 2018 South Australian Regional Science-Arts Collaboration Grants. The grants are worth up to $10,000 for the development and production of a science communication project.

The program is designed to bring together science and arts organisations to tell the stories of science and the community. There are many wonderful stories to be told about the scientific research and discoveries in our own backyard that often go unrecognised, uncelebrated and invisible to local communities.

Interested applicants must link at least two groups or organisations, including at least one identifying as  ‘science’ and one as ‘arts’. The form that the project takes may be a performance or series of performances, an exhibition, a showing, a screening or an installation.

The 2018 round builds upon the success of the 2017 grants, which saw four projects funded across regional South Australia. The projects including jewellery workshops, art exhibitions,  photography tours, stage shows and more.

Expressions of Interest close on 3 August 2018. For more information about the grants and to submit your EOI, head to the grants page.
