Got an idea for a National Science Week event and need a boost? These grants will help!

The National Science Week South Australian Community Grants have just been launched and are available to those wanting to kickstart a STEM event. The SA Community Grants are open to community groups, organisations, and businesses to help celebrate science.

The grants are worth up to $2500 to support an event that raises the profile and increases public awareness of science, technology and innovation in our society. The event may be in the form of a workshop, seminar, careers fair or other exciting activity that will be delivered during, or close to, National Science Week. Projects, activities and events that align with the aims of the STEM strategy will be considered favourably.

This year, National Science Week will be held from 11 – 19 August, 2018. Applications for the Community Grants close on 4 May 2018. For more information download the guidelines. To apply, download the application form.
