Meet local bird guru John Gitsham to discover the birds of Laratinga Wetlands. The workshop is for families with children (ages 7-15) with an interest in birds, wildlife and the outdoors. Take part in bird watching, make bird nests and feeders, and see how well you know bird calls.

Notes:

  • Please bring a drink bottle and wear a hat, sunscreen/bug spray and enclosed shoes.
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
  • Tea and coffee provided.
  • Binoculars and ID guides provided; however feel free to bring your own.

The workshop is free but registrations by 5 April are essential.
