Get into gear and hit Ignition with the launch of a new program to connect young people with science.

The IGNITION Series is a new program delivered through a series of special presentations about science, technology, research and innovation. The program hopes to inspire young people aged 16 – 25 years.

The 2017-18 IGNITION Series begins with Getting comfortable being uncomfortable: MY journey and STEM career, presented by Hannah Scherer, Technical Lead, Australian Aerospace Programs for Northrup Grumman Aerospace Systems. Hannah will share stories from her career and how she has navigated constant challenges.

IGNITION Series is presented by the State Library of South Australia with support from the University of Adelaide.

The first IGNITION Series presentation by Hannah Scherer will be on 19 October at the Hetzel Lecture Theatre, State Library of South Australia. The event is free but bookings are essential.
