A new grant has been launched to support community science activities and events in regional South Australia.

Applications are now open for the 2018 South Australian Regional Science Small Grants. The grants are worth up to $2000 and will support science activities and events in one of three regions: Eyre Peninsula and Western region; Yorke Peninsula and Mid North region; Limestone Coast region.

This grant program is part of a larger state initiative designed to raise community awareness of the importance of science, innovation and potential science-related careers. The central theme of the regional grants program is to engage the community in science-related activity and improve scientific literacy for South Australians.
