Nominations are now open for the Australian Academy of Science Honorific Awards.

The Honorific Awards recognise distinguished researchers across three main categories: early-career scientists, mid-career scientists and prestigious career scientists. The awards aim to honour researchers who have made outstanding contributions to science.

The Academy is encouraging nominations that celebrate diversity. In particular, the Academy is seeking nominations for outstanding female scientists, Indigenous scientists and scientists from diverse groups.

Nominations for the Honorific Awards are now open and close on 1 May. For more information and to nominate, head to the Australian Academy of Science website.
