School grants for National Science Week 2018 are now open!

The School Grant program offers up to $500 to preschools, primary schools and secondary schools to run an activity or event during National Science Week. A total of $90 000 is available each year across Australia.

Applicants are encouraged to focus on how science, engineering, technology and mathematics influence our lives, our economy, our society and our world. Successful projects are incredibly varied: some involve just a class, others the whole school and sometimes even neighbouring schools and the wider community.

The School Grant program is conducted by the Australian Science Teachers Association (ASTA) with support from the Australian Government.

Applications for the School Grant program are now open and close on 23 April 2018. For more information and to apply, head to the ASTA grants page.
