The South Australia Community Event Grants Program supports SA community groups, organisations and businesses in celebrating science during National Science Week, this year from August 15-22.

South Australian Community Grants are open to community groups, organisations, and businesses, with funding available for metropolitan and regional online and in-person events.

Activities and events must meet at least one of the aims of National Science Week and you are encouraged to include innovative ways to bring science to new audiences this year. These may include, but are not limited to, applications for the following types of science engagement.

  • Community events
  • Online events
  • Workshops

Applications for the 2021 SA Community Grants are now open – see the SA Community Grant Guidelines and download the SA Community Grant Application Form. Eligible organisations or individuals may apply for a grant up to $2500 for a project to be delivered during or close to National Science Week, 14-22 August 2021.

Applications should be sent by 14th May 2021.
