Grants of up to $5,000 may be used to support collaborative science engagement and/or science communication projects that will attract and engage new audiences in science.

National Inspiring Australia Citizen Science Grants 

The Citizen Science Grants – Round 2 provides eligible entities with competitive grants from $150,000 to $500,000 for research projects in a field of science that has a national impact and supports community participation.

Funding for community science activities or events in regional and remote South Australia.

Funding for the development of science-related events and activities to be held during National Science Week. Grants are available on the national, state and school levels.

South Australian Science-Arts Collaboration Grant
Funding for the development of a science communication project that links at least two groups or organisations, including at least one identifying as  ‘science’ and one as ‘arts’.

Funding for PhD students and early career researchers to tell their story of science through the arts.

2018 South Australian Regional Science Hubs Grant
Funding to establish a Regional Science Hub in each of two regions: the Adelaide Hills region; and the Barossa, Light and Lower North region.
